The project is aimed at supporting students, young professionals, developers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and project teams developing technological ideas, prototypes, or existing businesses. The Accelerator helps participants move from a prototype to a well‑developed project ready to be presented to the expert community, potential partners, and investors.
In 2026, the Accelerator’s thematic tracks are focused on the national projects of technological leadership. These include unmanned aircraft systems, means of production and automation, new materials and chemistry, nuclear and energy technologies, health‑saving technologies, bioeconomy, as well as transport, space, and food security.
50 project participants will be selected for the Accelerator. After the educational stage and individual work with trackers, 15 teams will advance to the final, and 5 winners will receive grants of 2 million rubles each for pilot implementation of their developments.
The programme includes an intensive educational block where participants master tools for developing technological projects, followed by a tracking stage: individual and team work with experts and trackers to refine the product, clarify the business model, prepare the presentation, and develop a market entry strategy. The finale will be a Demo Day, where teams will present their projects to an expert jury.
Igor AnfALOV, Director of the Autonomous Institution “Technopark of High Technologies”:
“The sixth season of the Accelerator is another step in the development of Yugra’s innovation ecosystem. We have expanded the tracks to nine key areas to cover as many technology solutions in demand both in the region and across Russia as possible. Our goal is not only to identify the strongest and award grants, but to build bridges between startups and major customers, so that every project gets a real chance for implementation.
I am confident that this season’s participants will surprise us with ambitious ideas and practical results. Over the previous five years, we have received more than 900 applications from over 40 constituent entities of the Russian Federation – this proves that the Accelerator has become a true magnet for tech entrepreneurs across the country.”
Evgeny Frunza, CEO of Zelenka Labs LLC, finalist of the 2025 Accelerator:
“The Yugra Technology Startups Accelerator is a unique growth driver. It helped us not only refine our business model, but also believe in ourselves. The result of our participation was our relocation to the regional capital, to the Technopark’s premises: we found a professional community and resources to reach a new level. For our startup, this was the main impetus to move forward!”
Azamat Kulanbayev, CEO of Arpikon LLC, winner of the 2021 Accelerator:
“The Accelerator helped Arpikon turn technology into a working business. Winning in 2021 gave us not only resources for growth, but also the trust of major customers. It is a powerful start that changes the fate of any project.”
Applications are accepted from August 19 to September 2 on the official website of the Accelerator: https://startupugra.tech/.
The organisers invite universities, technology parks, research organisations, student associations, youth entrepreneurship communities, and development institutions to disseminate information about the launch of the Accelerator among potential participants.
